1. Policy Overview
At Neekz (a brand by Shree Vaishnavi Foods), we take immense pride in processing and delivering the highest quality premium Basmati and Sortex rice. If your order does not meet your expectations, we are here to assist you with our return and refund guidelines.
Please review these guidelines carefully, as food safety regulations require us to maintain strict standards when processing returns of agricultural consumables.
2. Return Eligibility & Timeframe
To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be met:
- Damaged/Tampered Deliveries: Any claim for package damage, tampering, or open bags during transit must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.
- Standard Returns: For standard returns due to incorrect items sent or change of mind, items must be returned within 7 days of delivery.
- Consumable Item Quality: Because rice is a food product, we cannot accept returns of bags that have been opened, cut, or partially consumed, unless a specific intrinsic quality concern (e.g., infestation, milling defect) is verified by our laboratory.
3. Valid Reasons for Returns
We accept return requests under the following circumstances:
- Product Damaged: Outer jute bag or inner plastic lining is torn or tampered with before arrival.
- Mismatched Product: The delivered grade (e.g., Everyday Super instead of Sultan Premium) or pack size does not match the invoice.
- Lab-Verified Defect: Infestation or foreign material discovered upon opening the package.
4. How to Request a Return
To initiate a return or exchange, follow these simple steps:
- Step 1: Access your customer dashboard and click on the 'Orders' tab to view your order history, or email us at support@neekz.com.
- Step 2: Provide your Order ID, contact number, and upload clear photographs showing the damage, invoice label, or packaging issues.
- Step 3: Once approved by our team, we will arrange a reverse courier pickup from your delivery address via our shipping partners.
5. Refund Processing Timelines
Once the returned items are received and inspected at our Jammu warehouse facility:
- Inspection: We will verify the weight, tag details, and condition of the bag to ensure it is unopened (unless checking for a quality claim).
- Approval: Upon approval, we will process your refund back to the original payment source (credit/debit card, UPI account) or initiate a direct bank transfer.
- Duration: Please allow 5 to 7 business days for the refunded amount to reflect in your account, depending on your bank's processing cycles.
6. Order Cancellation Policy
We process orders promptly to ensure quick dispatch. Therefore, cancellations are subject to the following rules:
- Before Dispatch: You can cancel your order for a full refund at any time before it leaves our processing warehouse.
- After Dispatch: Once an order has been handed over to our shipping courier, it cannot be canceled. You must accept the delivery and initiate a standard return request.
